Problem: We live in the age of rapidly changing technology. In fact, it changes so rapidly that the only way the modern city can catch up would be on the backs of the engineers that design all of the things we need to help one run. But how do you get their attention?
Solution: We reach out to engineers and other city-dwellers in places they already are, to lead them into the perfect position to modify their cities.
We sent our users on a journey using foursquare to check out their favorite places where they will find their respective piece.
Once they've come to a solid understanding of what their piece is they will be allowed to actually see how they can affect their city in a progressive way, as well as classes they can take to further their knowledge on their subject if needed.
Eventually they will be lead to the actual IBM: Smarter Cities website where they can see what IBM has to offer as far as initiatives and education.
Thus, burgeoning engineers will learn how they can use their skills and how to make their own city a smarter city.
